Solar power in Colorado Springs

Did you know that solar panels perform much better when it's both cool and sunny outside?   Know any place like that?

My brother lives in Colorado and has been asking me to move there for years.   Every few days I get a text from him with a picture included.    It's always a picture of him on a ski lift.   And depending on the season, he's either got his skis or his downhill bike (2012 Specialized Enduro Carbon) with him.    My impression is that most folks in Colorado are a lot like my brother -- they know what they're doing and live there for a reason.    By and large they seem to have both a fondness and great respect for the outdoors and open space.    I wish everyone did.

Colorado has long been leading the charge for solar power.    Combined with high altitudes and bright sunshine, the state's renewable energy portfolio delivers an impressive solar financial return.   Almost making it difficult to claim you got solar for environmental reasons.
